Position: Importer Security Filing (ISF) Data Processor
Location: Moonachie, NJ

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Importer Security Filing (10+2) Data Processor to support our internal operations team. This role involves processing ISF filings in compliance with U.S. Customs requirements and ensuring timely and accurate data entry, communication, and follow-up.
Core Responsibilities
ISF Data Entry and Processing:
Enter ISF data elements including product details, country of origin, importer of record, IRS/Bond information, and other required data points.
Monitor and maintain electronic records of all ISF-related communications and forms in the operating system.
Verify that the ISF has not already been entered before initiating a new filing.
Create new filings and obtain necessary approvals.
Transmit completed filings to U.S. Customs.
Communication & Follow-Up:
Send emails to request any missing information required for filing.
Monitor email responses daily and send follow-up reminders if no reply is received by 12:00 PM the next business day.
Continue follow-up daily until all necessary information is received.
Track ISFs that do not have an S1 (approved filing) at the time of estimated time of departure (ETD).
Reporting & Tracking:
customer reports (Excel) to confirm an ISF is filed for every shipment.
Assist with obtaining ISF bonds for clients without a continuous bond in place.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written communication skills.
Prior experience with ISF processing or customs compliance is a plus.
Ability to manage follow-ups and meet daily deadlines consistently.
