Through this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in project management, program design, and ecosystem building while helping to co-design workshops and panels that support impact-driven entrepreneurship in the DMV region. You’ll also gain valuable research skills and learn about various impact measurement methodologies for Halcyon’s key sectors areas: Health, Climate and EquityTech.

Position Summary
The Summer Intern will support Halcyon’s Alumni team by researching, organizing, and analyzing portfolio data for impact-driven startups. This role will contribute to alumni reporting, data systems, and coordinating alumni programming across Halcyon’s program pillars: Capital Strategy, Leadership Development, and Product-Market Fit. The intern will also explore opportunities to research AI and automation to improve portfolio data collection and analysis.
- Assist Halcyon’s Alumni team through researching, collecting, and updating key alumni portfolio data, impact, and performance metrics.
- Support the development and maintenance of systems for tracking and reporting alumni outcomes.
- Assist with coordinating alumni programming, including workshops, panels, events, skill series, and project management.
- Help refine tagging and filtering systems for venture sectors and portfolio analysis.
- Research AI tools and automation opportunities to improve portfolio management and insights.
- Collaborate with team members to support special projects as needed.
This is a part-time (20 hours per week), in-person role that will run during the summer from June–August.
