Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a leading provider of mechanical and plumbing solutions, specializing in commercial and multi-family projects. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Foreman with expertise in plumbing and hydronic pipefitting systems to lead our installation teams. The Foreman will oversee field operations, coordinate project execution, and ensure hydronic (chilled/hot water heating & cooling) piping systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.


*This is a remote opportunity with travel throughout the DMV to various clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead plumbing/pipe-fitting crews on job sites
  • Install and oversee installation of hydronic heating and cooling systems, including:
  • Dual-temp chilled/hot water closed loop piping systems
  • Isolation valve replacements
  • Chilled/hot water Fan Coil Units
  • Pipe Insulation and Firestopping
  • Demo/Abatement Subcontractors
  • Drywall repair subcontractors
  • Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Coordinate daily work schedules for field technicians and subcontractors
  • Ensure installations meet project specifications, building codes, and safety standards
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and office staff to ensure project timelines are met
  • Conduct quality control inspections of installed systems


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or hydronic mechanical systems
  • 2+ years of leadership or foreman experience preferred
  • Journeyman license
  • Strong background in hydronic piping and plumbing systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications
  • Experience managing crews on commercial or large residential projects
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
