Job Description

The role involves providing licensed plumbing services in compliance with state and local plumbing codes. The position requires performing repair, maintenance, and construction work on plumbing systems in industrial, commercial, and medical research facilities. Responsibilities include installing and repairing plumbing systems, conducting routine testing, and troubleshooting to ensure service continuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed plumbing services in accordance with state and local codes.
• Perform repair, maintenance, and construction on plumbing systems in various facilities.
• Install and repair pumps, fixtures, potable water systems, meters, and industrial waste systems.
• Conduct routine testing on backflow preventers, water, and waste systems to ensure continuity.
• Troubleshoot plumbing systems to identify and replace faulty parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to complete assignments.
• Compile material lists for stock requisitions and deliveries.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and other regulations when working with hazardous materials.
• Use personal protective equipment as required.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in plumbing and pipe installation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems.
• Skill in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to conduct routine testing for preventative plumbing maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Several years of plumbing work experience.
• Current Georgia Journeyman license.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Georgia Master license and service work experience are preferred.

Work Environment

Work both indoors and outdoors in various facilities. This is a third shift role, with hours from Friday to Wednesday, 12 am to 8 am.

This is a Contract position based out of Lithonia, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
