Everyday Technologies is a preferred contract manufacturer for metal fabrication solutions. With over 75 employees between its headquarters in Sidney, OH and its location in Wapakoneta, we are looking to expand our team by adding a Plant Manager out of our Sidney, OH location.
The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of a sheet metal fabrication facility to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and a safe working environment. This role leads production teams, manages resources, and implements continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals, customer requirements, and financial targets.
Job Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the plant, including laser cutting, forming, welding, finishing, assembly, and powder coating processes.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards and on-time delivery.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and production staff to build a high-performing team.
- Monitor plant performance metrics such as productivity, scrap rates, labor efficiency, quality, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 14001-2015 standards.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Manage plant budgets, labor planning, and operational costs to meet financial objectives.
- Collaborate cross functionally with engineering, quality, maintenance, and human resources to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles.
- Support new product introductions and manufacturing process development.
- Maintain strong communication with sales and customer service teams regarding production timelines and capacity.
- Ensure proper inventory management of raw materials and work-in-process components.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 7–10+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven leadership and team-management skills.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production metrics.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools, PLEX preferred
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes such as laser cutting, forming, welding, and finishing not required, but strongly preferred

Working Conditions
