Plans Examiner will focus on reviewing building and site development plans for compliance with fire and life safety codes, regulations, and City ordinances.
Review and approve plans and specifications
Examine building construction and site development plans for compliance
Partner closely with staff in the Permit Service Center and Building and Safety Plan Check divisions to support coordinated permit review.
Qualifications:
Three (3) years of experience in fire protection design or fire code enforcement, including:
Plan review and inspection of fire suppression and fire alarm systems
Fire safety inspection and code enforcement under the California Building Standards Code
