Position: Piping Designer

Location: Billings, MT (Refinery)

We are seeking an experienced Piping Designer to support capital and maintenance projects at our Billings refinery. This role involves developing and managing piping design deliverables from concept through construction in both office and field environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update piping drawings, including MOC-related changes
• Prepare complete design packages for construction
• Support projects from concept through execution, ensuring compliance with standards
• Conduct field walkdowns to verify conditions and gather data
• Track progress, manage priorities, and communicate with stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design quality and constructability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of piping design experience in refinery or industrial settings
• Proficient in AutoCAD; 3D modeling and point cloud experience required
• Strong knowledge of piping standards and best practices
• Familiarity with REP standards preferred
• Ability to work safely in office and active refinery environments
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
