What You Will Do

Ascension Seton is seeking an exceptional OB/GYN to join our central academic team of Women's Health providers who are passionate about educating, training, and mentoring new women's health providers

Faculty physicians will work closely with academic leadershipat Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin to support the mission of training innovative, compassionate physicians. Phyisicians participate in educational conferences, resident evaluation, and the development of clinical learning experiences within Ascension Seton Women's Hospital, Medical Park Tower and community care clinics.

Ascension Seton Women's Hospital will celebrate it's grand opening in late spring. This beautiful new hospital dedicated to supporting comprehensive women's health was designed with a patient centered focus. It's an exciting time to join this incredible team and help to train our women's health providers of the future!

Position Highlights:

• Full scope of obstetrics and gynecology services; includes both inpatient and outpatient services
• Full range of specialties including OBGYN, MFM, Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, Gynecology Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across Ascension Seton clinical sites in the Austin region
• Serve as core faculty supporting medical student and resident education through Dell Medical School
• Participate in clinical teaching, bedside instruction, and supervision of learners in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Contribute to curriculum development, academic conferences, and simulation-based learning activities
• Mentor and advise medical students and residents pursuing careers in obstetrics and gynecology
• Engage in scholarly activity, quality improvement initiatives, or research aligned with academic program goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance patient care, education, and community health

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
