This provider will perform psychiatric evaluations, prescribe and manage medications, and internally refer to advanced neuromodulation treatments for expedited recovery. The provider will drive the implementation of integrated treatment plans for patients with complex psychiatric conditions. Care will be provided with an emphasis on harm reduction and evidence-based interventions.This role is a good fit for professionals who are highly motivated, compassionate, and committed to improving outcomes for patients with treatment-resistant mental health challenges.Scope of Duties: Essential FunctionsPatient CareProvide outpatient and/or telehealth psychiatric careConduct psychiatric evaluations, including interviews with patients and family as neededDiagnose mental health conditions and formulate differential diagnosesDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansPrescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including ketamine and TMS as appropriateMonitor treatment outcomes and make adjustments as neededOrder and interpret relevant labs and diagnostic testsPrioritize harm reduction and limit controlled substance prescribing, including stimulants, benzodiazepines, sedatives, opiates, ketamine, and all other controlled substances.
