Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Current, active Florida physical therapy license or license for the state where practicing. Candidates must meet state licensure requirements prior to start.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions in a clinic setting.
  • Ability to communicate treatment plans and evaluation findings effectively to physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons.
  • Experience collaborating within interdisciplinary teams and reporting patient progress to in-house and specialty doctors.
  • Preferred: prior outpatient clinic or orthopedic specialty experience treating musculoskeletal injuries.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Duration: 14 Week assignment.
  • Days: Monday - Friday workweek as noted in position characteristics.
  • Patient focus: Outpatient orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Clinical responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients, document progress, communicate with medical teams, and assist colleagues in identifying clinical issues.
