Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Michigan Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in hospital settings preferred, including acute care and skilled nursing unit (SNU) exposure.
• Comfort and ability to float between inpatient hospital duties and outpatient coverage as needed mid-assignment.
• Familiarity with Net Health and Agile EMR systems is beneficial; training for facility EMRs will be provided.
• Ability to manage a variable daily patient load equivalent to approximately 330–420 minutes of treatment per day.
• Ability to meet a guaranteed work week of 35 hours, with 40 hours expected.
• IP (inpatient) experience preferred but not mandatory.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital (acute care and skilled nursing unit).
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Days and Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Float Requirement: Candidate will cover hospital duties and, around mid-assignment, may float to outpatient as needed.
• Average Daily Census: Facility includes 47 acute care beds and 39 skilled nursing beds; daily treatment minutes vary.
