Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
• Active Virginia state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Experience treating general orthopedic patient population required. Experience with lymphedema or physical/lymphedema specialty is a plus (preferred).
• Productivity experience consistent with seeing 12–14 patients per day and achieving approximately 60 visits per week is preferred.
• Must be able to work a guaranteed 36 hours with expectation to work up to 40 hours; any overtime must be approved by the director prior to working (client requirement).
• PT (not PTA). First-time travelers accepted. New graduates not accepted.
• Ability to double-book follow-up visits and manage a high-volume outpatient schedule.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Type: 8-hour day shift.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
• Productivity expectation: approximately 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day with double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
• OT (overtime) must be approved by the clinic director before being worked.
• Float requirement: No floating to other clinics (client requirement).
• Option to be part of a Travel Team in this clinic or a neighboring clinic is available.
