Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral) from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist license required prior to the start of assignment.
  • Minimum 2 years of pediatric physical therapy experience in rehabilitation settings.
  • Hospital or medical-based experience required.
  • Experience treating infants and toddlers (0–3 years), including developmental and prematurity-related conditions, NICU graduates, genetic disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder.
  • Orthopedic pediatric experience preferred.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required from AHA or ARC.
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
  • Previous travel clinician experience required.
  • Willingness to float to other facilities as needed.
  • Must meet a 50-mile radius rule from the facility; travel radius compliance required.
  • All required demographic and credential documentation must be uploaded at time of submission. Hard document deadline applies prior to start.
  • Clinical prescreen with supervisor and final interview required.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient.
  • Specialty: Physical Therapist — Pediatrics.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 07:00–16:00. Typical 8-hour day. Shift may fluctuate between 07:30–16:00 and 09:30–18:00 based on scheduling needs.
  • Guaranteed minimum hours: Facility will guarantee 36 hours per week with potential to flex to 40 hours based on patient volume.
  • EMR: Epic.
  • Floating: May be required. Candidate must be flexible to function as core staff.
