Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
The Phlebotomist II supports a busy diagnostic environment by performing blood draws and other specimen collections, troubleshooting issues, assisting with training, and recommending workflow improvements. This role ensures accurate specimen handling, labeling, and processing while providing clear, courteous communication to patients and supporting clinical staff with timely and precise laboratory services.

Work Environment
This role is based in a patient service center within a fast-paced clinical or laboratory setting. You will work directly with patients for specimen collection and collaborate closely with laboratory and clinical staff. The environment requires consistent adherence to safety, decontamination, and regulatory protocols, including OSHA and DEP guidelines. Work involves frequent use of standard phlebotomy and laboratory equipment such as needles, collection tubes, centrifuges, and specimen storage systems. The setting emphasizes accuracy, patient interaction, and timely processing of specimens to support high-quality diagnostic services.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tallahassee, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
