Job Title: Phlebotomist - Scottsdale Site

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to join our team at a new patient service center in Scottsdale. In this role, you will be responsible for drawing blood and performing specimen processing while adhering to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct. You will be a crucial part of our team, collecting and receiving biological specimens, entering them into the computer system, preparing samples for analytical testing, and distributing them to the appropriate analytical areas. This position also involves performing specified analytical testing as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing.
  • Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
  • Accurately enter specimen data into the company's computer system.
  • Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the proper analytical areas.
  • Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
  • Follow the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection.
  • Experience with laboratory and phlebotomy procedures.
  • Strong skills in specimen processing and patient care.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior phlebotomy experience of at least one year is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in a team environment.
  • GED or high school diploma is required.

Work Environment

This position is located in Scottsdale, Arizona, operating from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. You will work as part of a team of phlebotomists in a patient service center. The role requires you to live within 20 miles of the location, preferably within 15 miles. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
