As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting specimens from patients through various procedures. You will package specimens and samples for laboratory testing and assist with other lab procedures as needed. Proficiency is required in blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, including pediatric blood collections and difficult draws in medical office buildings. A comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety is essential, as is the ability to communicate its importance to other employees. You will also provide orientation and training for patient service technicians.
Responsibilities
This position is assigned for the PM shift, running from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Training will be provided full-time to acclimate to the facility, with potential assistance in processing. The schedule is planned four weeks in advance, with an on-call basis that may change. This role involves working under the supervision of a lab supervisor and team lead, primarily with pediatric patients.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
