Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Rochester, MN 55905. This is a 13-week assignment with a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Phlebotomist

Location: Rochester, MN 55905

W2 pay: $25/hr - $31/hr

Schedule: Night shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM), every other weekend, ~40 hrs/week

Start date: 04/27/2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collection (capillary, venous, arterial, and assisted line) across all age groups
• Work across multiple units: ICU, ED, OR, pediatrics, general care
• Ensure accurate patient identification, specimen labeling, handling, and transport
• Use Point-of-Care (POC) testing equipment
• Respond to medical emergencies and maintain patient confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
• Assist in training staff and students

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Phlebotomy training or 3+ months of experience
• National Phlebotomy certification required
• Strong skills in organization, communication, multitasking, and critical thinking
