Phlebotomist I

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing venipuncture on patients of all ages and backgrounds, demonstrate strong technical proficiency with multiple needle gauges—particularly 21 gauge—and deliver exceptional customer service. This role is based in a fast-paced, high-volume Patient Service Center (PSC).

• Perform venipuncture and blood collection using 21, 22, 23, and 25 gauge needles.
• Accurately collect, label, and process specimens in accordance with established protocols.
• Provide a positive and professional patient experience through excellent customer service.
• Maintain efficiency and attention to detail in a high-volume clinical environment.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards.

• Strong proficiency in phlebotomy and venipuncture techniques.
• Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Experience with laboratory diagnostics and specimen processing.
• Prior work experience in a Patient Service Center (PSC).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic procedures.

• 36-hour work week with a rotating schedule of three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
  • Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
  • Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
  • Off until the following Thursday
• Required attire: scrubs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trinity, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
