Phlebotomist – Multiple Immediate Openings

Location: Albany, NY & surrounding communities

Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour

We are at the final stretch of launching a major phlebotomy hiring initiative supporting one of the largest and most respected healthcare systems in the Albany region. We are looking to bring on 10 Phlebotomists quickly, with roles available across hospital, laboratory, and outpatient sites in and around Albany.

This is a high-visibility project with long-term potential. Strong performance can lead to ongoing opportunities and consistent work as this healthcare system continues to expand services throughout the area.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages
• Work in a variety of settings including inpatient hospital units, central labs, and outpatient collection sites
• Ensure accurate specimen labeling, handling, processing, and transport
• Provide a calm, professional, and compassionate experience for patients
• Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines without exception

What We’re Looking For:

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (or completion of an accredited training program)
• Previous experience in phlebotomy strongly preferred (hospital or outpatient experience a plus)
• Comfort working in fast-paced clinical environments
• Strong attention to detail and patient-first mindset
• Reliable transportation for nearby outpatient site coverage (for applicable roles)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
