Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role requires you to work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate prescription processing and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret prescriptions accurately.
  • Enter prescription data into the system efficiently.
  • Fill medications in accordance with prescriptions.
  • Meet both productivity and quality goals consistently.
  • Flexibly transition between fulfillment and processing tasks as needed.
  • Communicate clearly over the phone, especially with physicians.
  • Work independently and as part of a team effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong adaptability and multitasking abilities.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in pharmacy operations.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license.
  • Pharmacy Technician certificate.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the pharmacy field is preferred.
  • Active Nebraska Pharmacy Technician License is required.
Work Environment

This is a 13-week contract position with a possibility of extension. The role involves floating between locations in Lincoln, Omaha, and Fremont. You will have the opportunity to work at different clinics each day, gaining valuable insights from multiple pharmacists. Each day will be spent at a single clinic, allowing focused work and learning.

This is a Contract position based out of Lincoln, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
