Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment plays a crucial role in the preparation and distribution of drug products. This position involves preparing prescription medications using the fulfillment system and ensuring efficient processing.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting member and physician outreach.
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member issues.
• Escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or direction on processing.
• Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Must reside in GA and close to Atlanta Metro
• High School diploma.
• 0 to 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by state of operation.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• State Pharmacy Technician License (GA).
• PTCB Certified.
• Pleasant attitude and ability to encourage members to refill medications.
• Exceptional customer service experience.
• Ability to make a minimum of 15 calls per hour.
• Must turn in work daily and arrive on time.

Work Environment

The position is 80% remote with a hybrid schedule, the office location is in Smyrna. Working hours are from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm with a 1-hour break. The role involves independent work assignments and includes outbound member calls as the primary duty, along with handling faxes, provider calls, and pharmacy calls - Hybrid.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
