Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join the healthcare team at Louisiana State Penitentiary. This position assists in medication preparation, inventory management, prescription processing, and maintaining pharmacy records in a correctional healthcare setting. Qualified applicants should possess pharmacy technician certification/registration (preferred) and strong attention to detail. Prior pharmacy or healthcare experience is preferred.

Compensation:This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $15.77 per hour.
Note regarding the advertised pay range:The maximum amounts listed are the maximum salary amounts a person can make at each level over their career andNOT the amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.
