Position:
The Pharmacist in Charge position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and filling/checking prescriptions at the store level. This position is also responsible for all pharmacy operations at the store level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional, prompt customer service and ensure accurate prescription dispensing.
- Promote patient communication and provide drug-related information as needed.
- Administer immunizations in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Oversee pharmacy staff, including technicians and cashiers, and train on technology and equipment.
- Manage pharmacy operations: inventory, ordering, audits, paperwork, and budget objectives.
- Communicate department progress and issues to Pharmacy Specialist and Store Manager.
- Resolve customer complaints and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties and assignments as directed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required
- APhA Pharmacy Based Immunization Delivery certificate required
- Valid provider level CPR certificate required
- Basic computer/office skills (Microsoft Office Suite, email, voicemail, internet/intranet, etc.)
- Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to lead and direct the work of others
