Pharmacist - Travel Job

We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position in Tulsa, OK at a hospital where you will use clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to patients across a range of care needs. Apply and a recruiter will contact you to review next steps.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Oklahoma Pharmacist license required.
• Experience with hospital pharmacy operations required, including sterile product preparation, unit-dose and floor stock dispensing, controlled substance handling, and pharmacy inventory management.
• Experience with medication reconciliation for discharge medication lists required.
• EPIC electronic health record experience required.
• Clinical experience in antimicrobial stewardship and interpretation of culture results preferred.
• Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing management and anticoagulation dosing management preferred.
• Strong communication skills for gathering pre-admission home medication lists and conducting discharge counseling required.
• Ability to comply with federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and facility policies required.
• Prior experience participating in Pharmacy & Therapeutics and medication use review activities preferred.

Assignment Details:

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift: Day, 3x8 schedule.
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Must be able to perform pharmacy functions under general supervision of Pharmacy Director and follow facility safety and policy standards.
• May be required to support pharmacy services across hospital units as needed.
