Job Summary:
Pharmacists ensure that patients receive safe, effective, and optimal medication therapy while providing expertise and information to empower patients and prescribers to make informed choices in medication therapy. Pharmacists ensure that pharmacy care is coordinated with the patient care plan
Job Details:
Location: Seattle, WA 98112
Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Shift Timing: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Setting: Inpatient Pharmacy / Oncology Infusion Support
Key Responsibilities:
• Order verification using Epic
• Final product verification checks
• Answering clinical questions and providing drug information
• Overseeing pharmacy technician functions
• Code Blue / emergency response support
• Supporting specialty/oncology infusion center operations
• After-hours outpatient dispensing (limited formulary)
Required Qualifications:
• Active Washington (WA) Pharmacist License
• BLS Certification
• Direct inpatient pharmacy experience
Preferred Experience:
• Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems
• Understanding of USP 797/800 guidelines
