Job Description

We are seeking a licensedPharmacistto support operations within aclosed‑door pharmacy environment. This role focuses on prescription review, verification, and dispensing in compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working rotating shifts in a fast‑paced, team‑based pharmacy setting.

This position does not involve walk‑in retail customer interaction and allows pharmacists to focus on accuracy, compliance, and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws
  • Ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance in all prescription processing activities
  • Monitor medication therapy for appropriateness, interactions, and dosing accuracy
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain efficient workflow
  • Maintain accurate documentation and pharmacy records
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Support operational needs of the pharmacy, including schedule flexibility and extended hours when required

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy(PharmD) from an accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • Active Pharmacist License in the State of Georgia
  • Retail experience highly preferred, high volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Schedule & Work Hours

This position follows aflexible rotating scheduleto support pharmacy operations:

  • Alternating weekly shifts:Day Shift and Night/Closing Shift:
  • Every other weekend required

This is a Contract position based out of Macon, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
