We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Personal Injury Case Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused, and purpose-driven environment. This role is critical in guiding clients through the pre-litigation process while ensuring excellence in case management, communication, and outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
As a Personal Injury Case Manager, the primary responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the pre-litigation process, providing regular updates and setting clear expectations
- Build strong, empathetic relationships with clients while supporting them through a challenging time
- Review and organize case files upon intake to ensure complete and accurate documentation
- Coordinate medical treatment with providers and monitor client progress
- Summarize and analyze medical records to support case development
- Identify insurance coverage and ensure subrogation claims are properly established
- Prepare comprehensive demand packages for submission to insurance carriers
- Negotiate with insurance adjusters under attorney guidance to secure favorable settlements
- Present settlement offers to clients and clearly explain options and outcomes
- Collaborate with the settlement team to finalize cases, manage liens, and ensure compliance
- Identify cases that require litigation and assist with transition and preparation
- Maintain accurate and timely updates within the case management system (e.g., Filevine)
- Prepare case status reports for attorney review and participate in file review meetings
- Work closely with attorneys and internal teams to move cases forward efficiently
Qualifications & Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in personal injury pre-litigation case management
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business, or related field preferred
- Paralegal certification preferred
- Strong understanding of personal injury law and pre-litigation case procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in case management systems such as Filevine or similar platforms
- Exceptional organization and time management abilities
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
