Travel Perfusionist Opportunity – CVOR | Day Shift
Shift: 4x10 Hour Days (06:00 – 16:30)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Perfusionist to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity, Level I Trauma setting. This role involves managing cardiopulmonary bypass, monitoring patient physiology, and collaborating closely with the surgical team in CVOR and general OR environments.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of perfusion experience
• Experience in Level I Trauma, CVOR, and General OR required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must hold an active New Jersey Perfusion License
Certifications:
• BLS (Required)
• ACLS (Highly Preferred)
Key Skills:
• Cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) management
• ECMO / ECLS support
• CABG and valve replacement procedures
• Cannulation techniques (aortic, femoral, axillary)
• Acid-base management and perfusion monitoring
• Experience with advanced cardiac procedures (TAVR, VAD, transplant, etc.)
Additional Details:
• No weekends or on-call required
• Floating required to Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center (HIPEC cases)
• Charting Systems: Epic & Pyxis
• Scrubs provided
