Job Title: Project Payroll Administrator

Job Description

As a Project Payroll Administrator, you will oversee, monitor, and control all project financials to ensure organized and accurate results, driving reliable project financials.

Responsibilities

  • Track costs including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Track time and submit daily timesheets for labor on construction sites.
  • Input data into customer-specific databases such as Track, SAP, and CCM.
  • Coordinate weekly payroll hours with paychecks.
  • Interact with supervision, field employees, office staff, and customers.
  • Track labor and supply data for input into an Excel database.
  • Develop invoices from labor, material, and equipment timesheets.
  • Provide support to Project Engineers and Project Managers.
  • Prepare various cost and forecasting reports.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of payroll processing experience.
  • Strong computer background, including proficiency with MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Excel, including complex functions and linking spreadsheets.
  • Experience with electronic timekeeping systems such as TRACK, ECM, or ATOM.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in accounting or previous relatable work experience preferred.

Work Environment

This position requires working on-site five days per week, with up to 12-hour days on certain projects. Weekend and holiday work may be required, with potential travel within the Northern California Region. Weekend work is typically project-based, ranging from half a day to a full day on Saturdays, with scheduling known weeks in advance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
