Park Ranger - Part Time

The City of Goodyear is seeking highly motivated individuals to work as a Park Ranger - Part Time within the Goodyear Parks System. This is a part time position and the ideal candidate will possess good customer service and communication skills, be positive, friendly, and willing to assist in the variety of operational and maintenance areas within Goodyear Parks.

Examination Process
All qualified applicants who meet the City of Goodyear’s requirements will be invited to move on to the examination process, which includes a panel interview.

• Monitor users in the parks and respond to emergencies and ensure safe conditions
• Provide in-person customer service to park patrons
• Share park information and assist park users
• Provide operational support to the Parks Department
• Support cleanliness of the parks and equipment
• Enforce all rules in a consistent manner
• Handle disputes in an impartial & professional manner
• Maintain a safe work environment & report all problems with facility or equipment to a supervisor

• Minimum one-year experience in customer service preferred
• Minimum one-year experience in park patrol or park ranger experience
• Strong communication skills
• Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License
• Must have or obtain CPR/AED and First Aid within 3 months of hire
