About our EMS Network:
American Ambulance Service, Inc, is a subsidiary of the Hartford HealthCare EMS Network, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary EMS system which includes licensed EMS agencies, hospital – based paramedic response resources, air-medical response resources, education and research, and hospital-based coordinators and medical directors.Our headquarters is located in Norwich, CT and we have additional offices in Griswold, Ledyard, and at Foxwoods Resort Casino. American Ambulance provides a full range of emergent and non-emergent medical transportation services by highly trained professionals to ensure safe, quick, and compassionate patient care.
Your Impact:
A Paramedic is an essential and critical member of our Operations Team. The main role of the Paramedic is to provide skilled emergency and non-emergency services in a variety of areas including emergency medical and rescue operations, advanced medical assistance, directing ambulance crews and first responders in patient care services, mentoring, training, quality assurance, and public education.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid CT Driver's License
- Valid State of Connecticut Paramedic License (experience preferred)
- Valid Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support certifications
