A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of the litigation process in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This hybrid role is based in Pittsburgh and is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and managing complex cases with minimal supervision.


Schedule:

  • Hybrid role based in Portland, Oregon
  • 3 days onsite / 2 days remote


What You’ll Do:

  • Assist attorneys with case evaluations through initial file review and case analysis
  • Draft chronologies, pleadings, answers, and other legal documents
  • Manage written discovery, document collection, and production processes
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, subpoenas, court reporters, and videographers
  • Summarize transcripts and prepare exhibits for attorney review
  • Support factual investigations, witness searches, and records review
  • Maintain litigation databases and organize large volumes of case materials
  • Assist with trial preparation including binders, exhibits, witness lists, and courtroom logistics
  • Conduct legal, medical, and public records research
  • Handle file maintenance, storage, and post-trial or appellate support as needed


Education and Certifications:

  • 3–10 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required
  • Paralegal Certificate preferred


What You Bring:

  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and case management
  • Trial experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Oregon State and Federal courts
  • Experience managing document-intensive matters and litigation databases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Relativity, LiveNote, and online research tools
  • Trial Director experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle confidential matters professionally
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines independently
