A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of the litigation process in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This hybrid role is based in Pittsburgh and is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and managing complex cases with minimal supervision.

Schedule:

Hybrid role based in Portland, Oregon
3 days onsite / 2 days remote

What You’ll Do:

Assist attorneys with case evaluations through initial file review and case analysis
Draft chronologies, pleadings, answers, and other legal documents
Manage written discovery, document collection, and production processes
Coordinate and schedule depositions, subpoenas, court reporters, and videographers
Summarize transcripts and prepare exhibits for attorney review
Support factual investigations, witness searches, and records review
Maintain litigation databases and organize large volumes of case materials
Assist with trial preparation including binders, exhibits, witness lists, and courtroom logistics
Conduct legal, medical, and public records research
Handle file maintenance, storage, and post-trial or appellate support as needed

Education and Certifications:

3–10 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required
Paralegal Certificate preferred

What You Bring:

Strong understanding of litigation processes and case management
Trial experience preferred
Familiarity with Oregon State and Federal courts
Experience managing document-intensive matters and litigation databases
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Relativity, LiveNote, and online research tools
Trial Director experience preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle confidential matters professionally
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines independently
