Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal role in Miami, Florida. The successful candidate will provide essential paralegal support for cases primarily in the areas of general litigation, corporate construction litigation, real estate, estate planning, and probate. This role is crucial in managing case files and providing support to the firm’s attorneys to ensure the smooth operation of all legal processes. The Paralegal will be responsible for performing various day-to-day tasks including legal document preparation, communication with clients, conducting research, and document review.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize case files and documents related to litigation, corporate construction, real estate, estate planning, and probate matters.
  • Prepare, draft, and file a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and transactional documents.
  • Prepare demand letters and other pre-suit communications.
  • Conduct legal research and factual investigation to support case development.
  • Maintain open and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness files.
  • Manage case deadlines and calendars.


Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Paralegal with specific focus and proven experience in one or more of the following areas: litigation, corporate construction litigation, real estate, estate planning, or probate.
  • Proficiency in legal document preparation, research, and document review.
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.


Highly Desirable:

  • 100% Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to speak fluently and write with no grammatical mistakes.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Demonstrated initiative to take action and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
