The well-established Pacific Northwest Personal Injury firm of Adler Giersch seeks an experienced paralegal in a personal injury practice to work in our beautiful downtown Issaquah location, just off I-90. Candidates must have a demonstrated passion for seeking justice and fairness, as we are a client-centric firm exclusively representing Plaintiffs in interesting injury cases.

The paralegal will work directly with a Senior Partner in the firm and will have the opportunity to grow professionally in a highly functional, supportive, family-like team environment.


Core Responsibilities

  • Provide overall daily support to the attorney, and concierge-level service to clients
  • Prepare and draft settlement demand letters
  • Facilitate client communication to include case updates, documentation, and scheduling
  • Organize and maintain case files including medical records and legal documents
  • Master use of the firm’s electronic case and calendar management software
  • Communicate with insurance companies, attorneys, and healthcare providers
  • Manage supervising attorney’s case calendar
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to legal ethics and professional conduct standards.


Qualifications:

  • Two-year degree and/or equivalent paralegal certification
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm
  • A proactive mindset to anticipate attorney and case needs and bring solutions
  • Excellent oral, written and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Thrive working independently, and also as part of a team
  • A natural “people-person” with high emotional intelligence and compassion
  • Excellent time management, case management and multi-tasking skills
  • A strong work ethic that is client-focused, team-oriented, and driven by a passion for advocacy and excellence
  • Litigation experience is preferred but not required


Benefits

We offer a robust compensation package, with a 401(k) plan with matching contributions from the firm. Base starting salary range is competitive, $85,000.00 and up, depending on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Compensation also includes full health, vision, dental, and life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and opportunities for a hybrid work schedule. Complimentary parking is provided at the office.
