We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) Paralegal to join our growing plaintiff-side labor and employment practice. This role provides direct support to two dedicated Associates, managing a diverse caseload that includes both single-plaintiff FEHA claims (discrimination, harassment, retaliation) and complex wage-and-hour class actions.

The ideal candidate is a proactive advocate who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is committed to securing justice for employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Support two associates in all phases of litigation, from initial intake and filing through trial preparation.
  • Plaintiff Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients, translating documents and conducting witness interviews/declarations.
  • FEHA Litigation: Draft and file complaints, DFEH/CRD right-to-sue letters, and substantive discovery responses for individual claims.
  • Class Action Support: Assist in the management of large-scale wage-and-hour matters, including class member outreach, auditing payroll/timekeeping records, and managing PAGA-related filings.
  • Discovery & Filings: Coordinate electronic filings (e-filing) in state and federal courts. Draft interrogatories, requests for production, and deposition notices.
  • Trial Prep: Organize trial notebooks, prepare exhibits, and coordinate with expert witnesses.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Labor & Employment paralegal (Plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred).
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fully fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
