Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Job description:

Painters will follow coating application procedure and use proper equipment to paint steel components. You will need to follow the coating application procedure and use the proper related forms. There will be responsibilities of mixing the coating product with the recommended paint ratio and add the correct thinner.

Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm

Friday 6:00 am - 12:00pm

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings to fabricated material while adhering to code requirements and guidelines
• Take directions for prime only or paint areas, drawing templates, and be able to perform layouts as indicated
• Setup and operate equipment necessary to coat fabricated material as required by job specifications
• Use proper safety equipment, paint equipment, paint and thinners, and assure that surfaces are adequately prepared for painting all operations
• Maintain shop, equipment, tools, vehicles, etc. for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety
• Coordinates with shop supervisor and other personnel for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently, on time, and with no defects
• Assists others as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
