Pay: $17.85/hour

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Packers to join our Crew B team. The role involves packing finished products, which can range from smaller items to longer pieces that require teamwork. As a Packer, you will be responsible for standing for long periods, paying attention to detail, and accurately counting and reporting items according to training. Effective communication is essential, and candidates must be able to understand, speak, and read English.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished products, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Work collaboratively with another person for heavier or longer items.
• Stand for extended periods while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
• Count and report pieces according to training protocols.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of packing experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and understand work directions.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and labeling.
• Capability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
• Experience in material handling and general labor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners and picking/loading tasks.
• Strong math skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting that is not temperature controlled, becoming very hot in summer but comfortable in winter. The use of cell phones and portable electronic devices is prohibited during working hours and on the manufacturing floor. Our core values emphasize safety, integrity, respect, and drive. Dress code requires long pants, steel toe boots, and safety glasses, while certain clothing and accessories are prohibited. The rotation schedule is from 6 AM to 6 PM, with breaks and lunch provided. Employees must adhere to the attendance policy, which will be reviewed during orientation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dillsburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.85 - $17.85/hr.
