Job Description

Join a dynamic manufacturing company with two major areas in the York/Thomasville region. The role involves operating equipment on the Laundry Line/CAT-Line 1, where you will be responsible for feeding plastic bottles into machine hoppers and ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet quality, scheduling, and customer requirements.
• Clean and lubricate bottle feeders regularly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure all quality standards are met, including using the correct material components.
• Assist with special projects and assignments such as rework and hand stacking.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing teams to identify and resolve waste areas.
• Assist with the training and certification program as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience in packaging, inspection, production, and pick/pack.
• Knowledge of inventory management, labelling, and food production.
• Ability to conduct filling operations and quality inspections.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in York,PA.
