Packaging Associate
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $17- $18/Hr.
- Thisis a clean, air conditioned facility.
- This is a high demand industry.
- They train on multiple areas/equipment.
Essential Job Functions:• Mil-spec packaging for aerospace and defense
• Computer Skills Required
• RF Scanner experience required
• Attention for detail and ability to follow/comprehend detailed packaging/labeling instructions.
• Accurate reading and following of sales order/manufacture order instructions
• Recording part counts, lot, batch and cure (if applicable) and scrap amounts
• Proper packaging (i.e., protect materials throughout handling and shipping)
• Proper labeling of product (how many labels and label content-P/N, Qty, Lot, etc.)
• Preform cycle counts
• Storage and identification of raw material/finish good stock
• Recording of labor for parts kitted/packaged
• Able to run open sales order(s) report to manage on time shipments
• Performs other duties as required
Education and Experience Required:- Understands Mil-spec packaging criteria for aerospace and defense.
- Understanding of the military, aerospace, or even pharma industry is helpful because there is a different level of requirement than general industrial packaging
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year experience in related field
