Location: Windsor, CO

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Compensation: $27.50-$29/hour (DOE)

The Manufacturing Operator II supports sterile injectable production by independently setting up, operating, cleaning, and troubleshooting complex manufacturing and filling equipment in cGMP and cleanroom environments. This role is responsible for accurate documentation, aseptic execution, product quality, and support of continuous improvement and process development activities. Operators at this level also act as technical resources and assist with training and mentoring other team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manufacturing activities in compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and batch records
  • Set up, operate, disassemble, and clean bulking, milling, filling, and packaging equipment
  • Operate semi‑automatic syringe filling equipment in sterile environments
  • Execute equipment and facility cleaning to maintain cleanroom compliance
  • Complete accurate documentation, calculations, and second‑check verification (Right the First Time)
  • Handle, issue, and formulate bulk injectable materials
  • Support SIP, VHP, autoclave, pressure hold, and filter testing activities
  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance as needed
  • Conduct in‑process and final quality inspections, including 100% syringe inspection
  • Participate in environmental monitoring and biological sampling
  • Support deviation investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train and mentor other operators on aseptic techniques and equipment operation
  • Safely handle hazardous materials and comply with waste management procedures
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of cGMPs
  • Cleanroom or sterile manufacturing experience
  • Ability to independently operate and clean production equipment
  • Strong documentation and data‑entry skills
  • High school diploma or GED with required years of experience, or equivalent education
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and wear full gowning and respirators
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sterile injectable or syringe filling experience
  • SIP, VHP, autoclave, or sterile bulking exposure
  • Experience supporting deviation investigations
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience
  • Previous training or mentoring experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $65520.00/yr.
