Outside Sales Rep, Climate Control Division

REGIONAL POSITION - SELLING IN TAMPA, FL AREA


Salary: Base $45,000–$55,000 (Total yearly salary: $120-125k) (uncapped monthly commission!)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Onsite/Field-Based


Must-Haves:

  • 1-3+ years of sales experience (outside, inside, B2B, rental, or transactional)
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance + clean driving record
  • Experience or comfortability being a "road warrior" who's out in the field
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Sense of urgency, competitive, “hunter” mentality

Plusses:

  • Equipment rental or tool rental background
  • Experience cold calling and prospecting leads
  • Exposure to HVAC, climate control, or environmental equipment


Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking an Outside Sales Representative – Climate Control for a top equipment rental client. This individual will be responsible for developing new business and managing existing accounts across a high-activity territory, selling portable HVAC and environmental solutions for short-term and project-based needs. The role is field focused with a fast, transactional sales cycle, heavy customer interaction, and strong earning potential through uncapped commissions. Day-to-Day:

  • Own and grow a defined sales territory through new business development and account management
  • Call on job sites, contractors, commercial customers, and event venues
  • Sell and rent portable HVAC, heaters, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and related solutions
  • Respond to urgent, short-term, and project-based customer needs
  • Partner with Tool and Specialty divisions for turnkey solutions
  • Plan weekly routes and prospecting activity (Mondays in-branch)
  • Attend required Wednesday safety meetings and Monday + Friday sales meetings
  • Track activity, pipeline, and accounts using Salesforce
