Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager – Commercial Pools

We are looking for a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join a dynamic team within the commercial pool service and construction sector. This role will focus on driving new business opportunities across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, specifically servicing commercial pool systems, filtration, pumps, and related services. Ideal candidates should be based within the region, though those based within a 3-hour radius of King of Prussia, PA are preferred.

• $120,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience)

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager – Role

  • Drive new business across the commercial pool systems sector, including pool filtration, pumps, and maintenance services.
  • Manage and grow sales of water chemistry systems, chemical systems, pumps, filters, and other pool-related products and services.
  • Carry out product demonstrations, attend exhibitions, and negotiate to win new commercial pool accounts.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and deliver end-to-end application solutions for clients, ensuring that all commercial pool systems are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Offer after-sales service and technical backup to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Work remotely from your base location, with regional travel expected (up to 10%).
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and service teams, to ensure a seamless customer experience.


Requirements

  • Commercial pool experience is required. Proven experience in a technical sales role such as Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Territory Sales Manager, or Business Development Manager.
  • Strong experience in commercial pool servicing, including water chemistry, filtration, pumps, and related products or experience in a similar engineering or industrial sales role.
  • Hunter mentality with a drive to generate new business and exceed sales targets.
  • Industrial or commercial experience in sectors such as commercial pool construction, service, or related industries (water treatment, HVAC, etc.) is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
  • Full, clean driving license required.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region to meet with clients and prospects.
