Role Description
This role is for a Sales Representative. The Sales Representative will identify and qualify new business opportunities, focusing on restoration companies and industry professionals who can benefit from MitGear's restoration equipment and supplies. Typical day-to-day activities include prospecting, conducting outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings, and delivering compelling sales presentations that clearly explain equipment types and packages. The role involves building and maintaining long-term relationships, managing a pipeline of leads, and following up consistently to move prospects through the sales cycle. The Outside Sales Representative will also gather feedback from clients, collaborate with internal teams to refine offerings and messaging, and track performance using CRM and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, with the ability to earn trust and maintain long-term client partnerships.
- Proficiency in sales presentations and clear communication, including virtual and phone-based meetings.
- Experience in new business development, prospecting, and managing a sales pipeline.
- Comfort with remote work tools, CRM systems, email outreach platforms, and virtual meeting software.
- Prior success in B2B sales, preferably in equipment, industrial sales, or service-based industries; experience in the restoration or construction sector is a plus.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote contract environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in the property restoration industry is highly preferred (sales, technician, management)
- 3+ years of sales experience

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand the product lineup and sister company course offerings
- Attend classes, tradeshows, industry events
- Attract leads by working with the marketing team, through websites, etc.
- Cold outreach, including cold calling, visiting offices, etc.
- Work with clients to determine equipment needs and put together custom packages
- Send invoices and estimates, and ensure prompt payments from customers while working with the accounting and A/R team
- Be able to quote The Office, and understand when others quote it
- Know and understand water damage processes and workflows
- Become an expert on products including equipment, chemicals, and consumables
- Understand the application, design, use, pricing, maintenance, etc., of different products
- Up to 30% travel required
