Outpatient Nurse Coordinator - Comprehensive Lung Center (UPMC Presbyterian) UPMC Presbyterian is seeking a dedicated and experienced nursing professional to join our high‑volume pulmonary outpatient clinic as an Outpatient Nurse Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, patient‑focused RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional outpatient care, supporting care coordination, and enhancing the overall patient experience. Hybrid Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, up to two remote workdays each week About the Position: The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator is a Registered Nurse and key member of a high‑volume pulmonary outpatient clinic care team. This role provides comprehensive oversight of outpatient care using independent judgment and continuous communication with patients, families, providers, and community resources. Responsibilities include patient education, medication management support, obtaining prior authorizations, and serving as a liaison between patients and providers. The Nurse Coordinator advocates for patients at all times and demonstrates a strong commitment to the community and the nursing profession.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
