Order Picker
Job Description
The order picker safely moves, loads, and unloads building products using forklifts and other industrial equipment while ensuring orders are accurate, properly secured, and ready for timely delivery. This role reads work orders or follows verbal instructions to determine material requirements, maintains clean and organized storage areas, and performs routine maintenance on power industrial trucks in a busy lumber yard environment.

Work Environment
This position is based in a lumber yard and warehouse environment that is non-climate controlled and can be dusty. You will primarily work in the wall department, spending significant time outdoors loading and unloading trucks and railcars and picking orders. The role is physically demanding, with frequent lifting of up to 75 lbs and occasional lifting up to 150 lbs, as well as regular operation of forklifts and other industrial trucks. The standard schedule is Monday through Thursday from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional hours on Fridays and potentially Saturdays depending on workload. The dress code requires jeans, steel-toe footwear, and layered clothing as needed for varying weather conditions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
