Oracle Database Administrator

Role: DBA (Construction Automation)

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Duration: 12 Months

Overview: Join the Uranium Processing Facility (UPF) Construction organization as a Construction Automation Specialist. This role involves monitoring construction data, ensuring alignment of engineering and procurement data feeds, and supporting the implementation of project tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor construction client Standard Applications Programs (BSAPs) and assure data feeds from Engineering and Procurement are aligned and functioning properly
• Assess data quality in TEAMWorks to ensure construction data input is properly managed
• Perform SQL and Oracle Database administration
• Develop reports using SSRS and PowerBI
• Create Process Director forms and maintain Software Quality Assurance (SQA) documentation
• Support the implementation of project tools

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work well in a team environment
• Familiarity with nuclear quality and commercial practice standards
• Experience with SQL and Oracle database administration
• Experience developing complex reports/views combining data from multiple sources
• Experience with SQA documentation
• Physically able to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs, including extensive walking, climbing, and maneuvering in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience of DOE, DOD, and/or commercial nuclear construction projects
• Working knowledge of client Standard Work Processes Procedures (SWPPs) and related BSAPs
• Knowledge of client Zero Accidents safety program
• Recent experience working in a client Automation Role
• Familiarity with TeamWorks, Process Director, SSRS, PowerBI, and other client applications
• Recent experience with SQA Documentation
