Operator 3rd Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an Operator to join their team. As an Operator, you will be part of the production support team supporting operational efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Operator

Location: Avon, NY

Pay Range: $21.81

Shift: 3rd Shift

What's the Job?

• Maintain and operate production machinery to ensure smooth manufacturing processes
• Verify incoming materials using production schedules and BOM for accuracy and traceability
• Assist with sanitation and cleaning of equipment, workstations, and surrounding areas
• Support quality assurance procedures by identifying and communicating quality issues
• Participate in safety protocols, including equipment operation certifications and safety inspections
• Request, retrieve, and stage materials to the line within QA and GMP within specifications

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or relevant experience
• Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and mandated overtime
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety procedures
• Prior manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Able to work in a cold environment and acquire steel toe work shoes
