The Operator 2, Manufacturing works in a laboratory and production environment to formulate, fill, package, and label products while following detailed manufacturing documentation and standard operating procedures. This role completes routine production work with occasional variations, operates and monitors a variety of processing and packaging equipment, and performs in-process checks to ensure high-quality, cost-effective products are available on schedule. The position requires careful attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in standard and cleanroom environments.

Work Environment
This position is based in a laboratory and manufacturing setting that includes both standard and cleanroom environments. You will operate and interact with processing and packaging equipment such as balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and semi-automated and automated manufacturing systems. Work involves weighing and measuring raw materials, using computer interfaces, and performing in-process sampling and testing. The environment follows strict safety regulations, ISO guidelines, GMP requirements, and SOPs, with room-specific PPE requirements and established safe practices for working with chemicals and hazardous materials. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, requiring regular cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, equipment, and glassware to maintain proper operating conditions. The schedule may include overtime and flexible shifts to support production demands, and work is performed with general instruction on routine tasks and detailed guidance on new assignments within a structured, quality-focused setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
