Operator 1st Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the food production industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring efficient and safe operation of machinery to meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Avon, NY

Pay Range: $20.81

Shift: 1st Shift

What's the Job?

• Operate and troubleshoot machinery to ensure smooth production flow
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas
• Verify incoming materials and ensure proper labeling and inventory control
• Assist with sanitation procedures and safety inspections
• Support quality assurance processes and communicate any issues
• Request, retrieve, and stage materials to the line within QA and GMP within specifications

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
• Prior manufacturing or production experience helpful but not mandatory
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications
• Able to work in a cold environment and acquire steel toe work shoes
• Able to do basic math
