The Impact You Will Have
In this position, you will be responsible for performing complex work under limited supervision in support of driving the performance of vendor partners through research, process audit, performance oversight and analysis of data for the Operations Division. The focus is on end-to-end vendor support that drive the operation of the business to ensure services and transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Your Responsibilities
Continually and proactively monitor vendor operations performance to ensure targets are met consistently.
Frequently interacts with functional leads at vendor location to provide guidance and performance feedback.
Participates in vendor or business process change and redesign to implement improvements (including business requirements and acceptance testing) to support the operations vendors.
Communicates and collaborates with vendor stakeholders as needed to ensure quality calibration, communication of critical process changes and ensure overall Blue Cross exceptional customer experience.
May provide training to vendor resources to achieve project objectives.
Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions that increases automation and resolves system deficiencies.
Maintains awareness of systems, processes and expertise to support operations outsourced business.
Participates in assigned work groups, committees, and project implementations.
Collaborates with business and technical units to serve as vendor champion with internal stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
3+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
Excellent collaborative, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Intermediate technical skills (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Access).
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 4 weeks at a time.
Desire to excel and ability to work in a high paced environment, handling multiple responsibilities and projects.
Strong work ethic, flexible.
High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree.
Health Insurance experience preferred.
Experience managing a global vendor
Interpreting and enforcing contracts, SLAs, KPIs, penalties, and renewal terms.
Proven ability to analyze and interpret large data sets to drive insights and decision‑making.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $68,900.00 - $91,300.00 - $113,700.00 Annual
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
